Once at the venue, we checked out the sponsors area and cars they displayed. Some really nice builds can be found there.

The participants parking lots are where you find the warriors. Vehicles that are being pushed to their mechanical limits.



We stopped by Champy’s Famous Fried Chicken, a local favorite. The food was great. We saw some really nice HRPT cars there too.
As always, the hotel parking lot was full of really nice rides.

Our hotel was across the street from Honest Charlie’s Speed Shop. They have been supporting the hot rod community since 1948.
What an amazing time. The tour continued on to Hoover, Alabama and then Atlanta. I headed home, but from what I could see, the remaining 5 cities were great hosts. I am already thinking about next year.
