In 2013, I had the opportunity to visit the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. The museum is about more than just Ford. It reviews the industrial revolution and American manufacturing.
The museum was well organized and felt like a part of the Smithsoneon.
One of the exhibits featured an exploded view of the Ford Model T.
A number of beautiful and rare cars were on display including a Cord and classic Bugatti.
Ford acknowledged the sales accomplishments of GM in the late 1950’s.
A re-creation of the bus Rosa Parks sat on during the Civil Rights Movement.
The museum featured a number of displays involving various forms of transportation throughout American history.
Several historical race cars were onsite.
Presidential Lincoln Town Car.
Some of the other cool and interesting rides at the museum.
