While at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, we spoke with Steve Anderson, owner of AOK Car Care, about “Big Joe” a pro street tribute to the Armed Forces. This build is dressed like a military medic vehicle, but the big block and twin superchargers will make your heart stop.
This 1934 hot rod is built to run. It sports Military Olive Drab paint with a glossy finish. It is powered by a 454 with twin 671 blowers and four 800 CFM Edelbrock carburetors. The power runs through a TH400 transmission to the Detroit Locker and 9 inch Ford rear. Its finished off with Strange Axles, 4:11 gears, 4 Link rear suspension and wheelie bars.
We thank Steve for his service and honoring the military in this way.
