What a time at Indy! The city knows how to do automotive events. The day started off cloudy with rain in the forecast.
We stopped for gas and caught a glimpse of this pro touring Corvette that was built just right. Hugger Orange with gray stripes and LS7. The combination of style and upgrades made me drool.
The drive was fairly uneventful, but I guess that’s a good thing. I did enjoy a view of Aaron’s 1959 Chevrolet Parkwood.
Oddly enough while traveling from Indianapolis to Fort Wayne, the route took us through Ohio. In the town of Celina, Ohio I spotted the Sweet Patina wagon of ALS Challenge fame.
The closer we got to Fort Wayne, the more it rained. The venue was soaked when we got there and it was still coming down.
We regrouped, had lunch, and got ready for the evening. Lingenfelter invited us to tour their facility. You cannot take pictures or videos inside, so let’s just say they do amazing engineering. I had been staring at this Cadillac ATS-V all week on display at their booth.
This was the last night of the Hot Rod Power Tour for us. After the day at Norwalk tomorrow we planned to drive home. We went out to dinner with the crew one last time.
