Byers Cars and Coffee September Meet

One of the great things about being in a city with so many enthusiasts is the number of meets and shows to choose from. There are two Cars and Coffee events in Columbus. One meets weekly and the other is closer to monthly.

Local dealer Byers Imports hosts the more formal event with scheduled intervals. They specialize in high end performance vehicles and their shows usually bring out a range of exotics.

One of the vehicles on display was this black on black, Porsche Macan Turbo.

Speaking of Porsche, I captured a couple other amazing examples of their brand.

I had the opportunity to briefly speak with the owner of this 1967 Fiat Dino. Dino, as in Dino Ferrari.

One of my favorites was this 1959 Chevrolet Parkwood. This car just oozes cool. Patina, steel wheels with covers, and a long roof. Owner Aaron has great taste in cars.

The beauty of this show is the diverse types of cars. There were cars from all parts of the globe, various manufacturers, and all eras.

J. Nutter owns a popular custom shop in Columbus and this Nissan 240SX serves as the flagship.

This Lotus caught my eye for all the right reasons.

The styling on new performance vehicles from Jaguar is spot on.

Next to the Jaguar was a Mercedes Benz GT. I love the styling and the nod to the classic looks of the Mercedes SL.

You can’t mention exotics without Lamborghini and Ferrari in the conversation. These cars demand attention in any setting.

I found a classic Dodge Charger at the meet and a new Dodge Viper.

This event was well attended. People lined the street to hear the cars exit the show and  in some cases, display their power.

I look forward to the next scheduled meet.
