Day 4 was not a typical power tour day. We had gone ahead of the group to the next stop to spend time with family. So, we didn’t participate in driving the route on that day.

We invited our relatives to go with us to ZMax Raceway to experience Power Tour. It was a hot day and there was plenty of congestion leading up to the venue.

ZMax is one of two drag strips in the country with 4 wide racing (Las Vegas is the other). Participants were able to make passes down the drag strip using the 2 center lanes.

There was no shortage of cool cars. North Carolina is home to many race shops and teams. ZMax has a way of bringing out a large crowd of enthusiasts.

It was hard to believe there was only one day left of the Power Tour. The next morning we would head off to Bristol, TN.
