So there has been big news this week surrounding the Hot Rod Power Tour. The cities have been announced, and registration is now open. This has resulted in a reservation and registration scramble among many. If you haven’t made your plans yet, don’t worry. You still have time.

For many years, the Power Tour has picked up where it left off the previous year. Not the case in 2022. The tour is going to skip down to Memphis International Raceway when it kicks off Monday, June 13, 2022. This should make for a great stop when you combine the Blues and Memphis BBQ with classic cars.

The tour will then continue on to Music City when it stops by Nashville Superspeedway. There are stops in Hoover, Alabama on Wednesday and Pensacola, Florida on Thursday, before it wraps up in Georgia at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Many are excited about the stops this year as the tour hasn’t been to Memphis in several years and inside Florida in a while. There is a lot of ground to cover on each day. You’ll want to make sure your A/C is working and your cooling system is up to the challenge before heading into this part of the country in June.

I haven’t decided how much of the Power Tour we will do this year, but I am definitely taking part in the action. Are you planning to go? Let me know in the comments if you are and what stops you are looking forward to.

hi Demetrius
I was thinking about starting at Nashville, going to Hoover and then to Atlanta to catch up with old friends and finishing up at Atlanta motor speedway. cuts the mileage and $ way down …

That could be a fun way to split it up. I will probably pick my dad up in St. Louis then start in Memphis. Not sure what else from there.
